Twitter seems to the spot for entertainers to air each other out. Almost weekly there is some kind of beef popping off via the social network. Today’s drama featured Chris Brown and Raz B going in on each other about Rihanna of all people.

Since news broke that Rihanna and baseball player Matt Kemp split up, Raz B has been tweeting nonstop about his love for the singer.

This is the video that made me fall for @Rihanna ummmm I’m gonna chew you up a bubblegum,” Raz tweeted, adding a link to Ri’s “Rude Boy” video.

It’s an odd way to try to get someone like Rihanna’s attention, but Raz has been doing a lot of strange sh*t lately.

He continued his Rihanna tweets, then out of nowhere dissed singers Eric Benet and Chris Brown.

I’m sitting here thinking how can n*ggas like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as intelligent as @HalleBerry11 and @Rihanna.”

That was all it took to get Breezy fired up, he quickly shot back, “@razb2k n*gga you want attention! Grow up n*gga!!! D*ck in the booty a** lil boy.

From that point on the two exchanged insults back and forth.

And that was that, it’s crazy how twitter gets people to say things they would normally never say in public.

Teena Marie, a celebrated R&B singer-songwriter, was found dead Sunday at her California home, her manager said.

Born Mary Christine Brockert in Santa Monica, California, the 54-year-old artist famously paired with late funk legend Rick James and was nominated four times for a Grammy Award, according to her official website.

Marie was found dead by her daughter after apparently dying in her sleep, manager Mike Gardner said.

“Teena was a black voice trapped in a white body,” said Cathy Hughes, founder of Radio One, a broadcasting company that targets African-American and urban listeners. “I would always tell her that she was one of the greatest vocalists of our time.”

Among her songs were “Lovergirl,” “Portuguese Love,” “Ooo La La La,” and “I’m a Sucker for Your Love.”

While no cause of death has been released, the singer’s publicist Lynn Jeter said that Marie suffered a grand mal seizure — a neurological event, marked by loss of consciousness and violent muscle contractions, according to the Mayo Clinic — a month ago.

“Luckily, someone was there,” Jeter said of that seizure. “The ambulance took her to the hospital, and on the way she had another seizure.”

The publicist said that she had a “great” conversation on Saturday with Marie, who told her that she was excited about heading to Atlanta to perform this week — in what would have been her first performance since the seizure.

Marie sang under various record labels, including Motown, Epic and Cash Money Classics, since bursting on the scene as a 19-year-old, according to her website. Her most recent album, Sapphire, features collaborations with Smokey Robinson, Kurupt and Gerald Albright.

Eddie Levert, founder of the vocal group The O’Jays, praised Marie as both a singer and mother.

“There are a lot of black people who swore by her and believed in her, as far as her music was concerned,” he said. “She was a good mom, and to me, that is saying a lot.”

He earns millions of dollars every year, but basketball star LeBron James wants investors to splash out up to $500,000 each to sponsor his lavish 26th birthday celebrations.

The Miami Heat player has hired a marketing firm to find backers willing to help fund his December 30 party, dubbed the “Full Court Birthday Celebration.”

James, who earned a reported $14.5 million in salary this year, enlisted SA Global Plus — whose website shows slides from a presentation given to potential investors.

The sponsorship opportunities range from $10,000 for a single event on his 11-stop “LeBron James Dinner Party Tour” to $500,000 for a season package.

Next week’s A-list party will take place at the Coco De Ville Lounge in Miami Beach’s Gansevoort Hotel, and the presentation promises an array of stars including athletes, musicians and political figures who “reinvent and set the tone for a chic lifestyle.”

Potential sponsors will have further chances to catch a glimpse of the self-styled “King” as his celebrations — which started in New York this month — keep going until the final date in Atlanta on April 10.

But for someone who pays so much attention to the finer details, his name is spelled “Lebron” throughout the presentation — at odds with his own website’s preference.

It is not the first time the former Cleveland Cavaliers guard, who calls himself “King James” on his Twitter account, has attracted attention away from the basketball court.

The six-time NBA All-Star ended months of speculation about his future in July, when he announced he would be joining the Heat on a live television special called “The Decision.”

The broadcast, which led to James becoming a pariah among Cavaliers fans, attracted a reported 10 million viewers.

The Heat will take on two-time defending NBA champions the Lakers in Los Angeles in Saturday’s high-profile Christmas clash.

SEATTLE — A pregnant teen says she feared for her baby after she and her boyfriend were attacked by a group of four girls and a woman on a Metro bus last month, and it was all captured on the bus security camera.

Jessica, who spoke on condition that her last name not be used, was riding on the packed No. 358 bus in Seattle during the evening rush hour on Nov. 19. Around 7 p.m., a 19-year-old woman, three 16-year-old girls and a 14-year-old girl boarded the bus via the rear doors, investigators said.

“Me and my boyfriend got on the bus and we were listening to our Zune — he had a headphone; I had a headphone — and then the girls came on,” said Jessica, who is due to give birth in June and was returning home after doctor checkup. “I didn’t know them so I wasn’t expecting anything and one of them started saying something to my boyfriend.”

Surveillance video shows just 34 seconds after the girls boarded, one of the girls grabbed the Zune. When Jessica and her boyfriend resisted, the pair was attacked by the five girls, police said.

“Basically I was turned around, one of the girls hit me from the back,” Jessica said. “I turned around to ask ‘hey, what are you doing?’ and then three of the other ones started hitting me.”

She says she turned around again and was struck in the eye and began bleeding profusely.

Jessica mentioned twice that she was pregnant and said she didn’t want to fight them, but she says one of them made the comment, “well, nobody hit her in the stomach.”

“My main concern was for the baby,” Jessica said. “None of them hit me in the stomach, but one of them was kicking me in the back and I just didn’t want anything to happen.”

Investigators said as the attack was occurring, three of the girls stole items from the boyfriend’s pockets.

“They just started going through our pockets, and I was just like, ‘Hey, what are you doing, get out of my pockets.’ ” Jessica said. She says they took the Zune and cigarettes from the boyfriend’s pocket.

The attack continued until the bus pulled over and the victims were able to escape, police said.

Jessica was taken to Harborview Medical Center to receive six stitches for eye. Her boyfriend was just bruised. She says she had never met any of the five attackers before, but her boyfriend had met one of the five at a party last summer and that woman had claimed he stole her cell phone, a charge he denies.

Meanwhile, Metro Police tracked down three of the alleged attackers at 85th and Aurora about a half hour after the incident. The other two were arrested days later by Seattle Police officers.

“I think this assault kinda takes your breath away because you’ve got five girls… and they’re assaulting these two who aren’t even fighting back,” said Sgt. John Urquhart with the King County Sheriff’s Department. “To me, that’s pretty egregious.”

Investigators credited the surveillance camera on board with providing crucial evidence to crack the case.

“I don’t see how people could watch this and not be outraged,” Urquhart said. “Clearly (the girls) think this is OK, and they have no compunction doing this in front of a bus load of people in a bus that’s clearly marked as a video coach… I’m lost. I just don’t get the mindset going on there.”

Urquhart says nearly 400 Metro buses have cameras with plans for another 250 buses to be equipped in the next few years.

Investigators say the 19-year-old was charged with assault and has since bailed out of jail. The other four girls were charged with second degree robbery. Three remain in custody while the fourth is on electronic home monitoring, police said.

All five girls have been arrested previously. “They’re all very familiar with the criminal justice system,” Urquhart said.

Jessica says she’s glad they’re off the streets.

“If they’re going to be acting like that, you can’t be out in public,” she said. “It’s just not the way to act, especially toward a pregnant female.”

Urquhart says the bus driver did everything right — he parked and waited after he called police. Investigators are glad that bus was one with a camera on board and say the incident could have happened anywhere and had nothing to do with safety issues on Metro buses.

They pointed out, however, that no passengers on the bus called 911.
