Hey Kevin, I have plated World at War since the DAY it came out and i got Modern Warfare 2 on chirstmass, i barely play world at war anymore. Modern Warfare 2 in my opinion is the best game i have ever played. I think that is is much better, the guns, the graphics , the story and the way you can customize your classes and tags more. Modern Warefare 2 is much better than WAW was. For some reason WAW seemed very slow mo, and it didn’t really feel like a COD game. MW2 has a better setting.

well both are great games but i would have to say mw2 is better because although you cant play and fight zombies you can nuke people…..come on who wouldn’t wanna call for some to die of a nuke!!!also you got better guns……the m1grant takes to long to reload but m4a1,acr,and many many more reload faster…….and then you can use rpg’s and so many things it is fun as all hell dude trust me……

I personally like Modern Warfare 2 better than World at War. I think the graphics are so much better and the guns are more evenly used. In World at War 90% of people used a SMG, and in Modern Warfare 2, people use all of the weapon variations. Plus, you can’t beat the new perks [and the loss of juggernaut!] and the new guns, the new attachments, and the new equipment slot.

Modern Warfare 2 is the better game.
In WAW there were many problems. There were many using the Mp40 with Juggernaut combo. This made it extremely difficuly to kill people. Also, the MP40 was a very cheap gun. It was too powerful and yet could fire so far and so accurate just like a sniper.
MW2 was a big improvement compared to WAW. Most of the guns in MW2 are balanced. There is no Juggernaut perk but there is a painkiller death streak. But is not that bad compared to Juggernaut.

I have played all the Call of Duty games since Modern Warfare 1. I have played that game for almost 2 years, and could tell you that this game is one of my favorite of all time.
Once World At War came out, I was sucked in just because I wanted to be able to play new maps and all that… BUT… The single player was deceiving, and the online was, to say the least… GARBAGE!
Then one day Modern Warfare 2 Came along… ORGASM
That game is the BEST in the series so far, the single player is awesome, and the online is simply GODLY man… Definitely the best…

I think MW2 is very fun because,online is great.
Sure the occasional server time outs suck,but over all its very fun.
WaW was pretty cool too,I liked the campaign. I never played it online though,so I have no idea if it was fun online or not

Both are GREAT games… Modern Warfare 2 is better, it has better multiplayer and campaign. I have an intresting story about this. The first time I got MW2, I got really excited so I went to the store and bought my coppy. I drove home as fast as I could and tried to open it… I couldn’t so I grabbed a large kitchen knife. I took the knife and jabbed it into the case… and broke the disc in half. I was like OH “DAMN”! Then I was furious, I grabbed the knife and just threw it as hard as I could. Little did I know my cat and Grandma were sitting across the room. The knife hit my cat across the back and ricocheted right at my grandma… It hit her leg and stuck, she was impaled by my knife. After that my sister walked in… she saw everything and ran and called the police. I could hear police sirens in the distance. It was then that my Mom walked in and got scared, she said “you’re moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.” I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said Fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could tell that this cab was rare but I though “Naw forget it, yo homes to Bel-Air!” I pulled up to a house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby “Yo, homes smell you later!” I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there- to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air. So even after all that I still recommend MW2

Wat up, Kevin? I’m sorry to say but the Call of Duty franchise did not move forward with MW2, World At War is the better game. It’s because of the feel of WW2, it’s fun, that’s what war was really like. Not this crazy crap with missiles and spies and suff.

I would have to say Modern warfare 2 because.. It has come a long way since modern warfare 1.. Spec ops is alot of fun.. But for world at war.. i liked it a bit.. i played it alot.. but modern warfare 2 blew my mind.. with all the new killstreaks.. its amazing!!!

Modern warfare has more players than world at war and modern warfare has spec ops but world at was has a good story line and it has nazi zombies. Hey kev hows it going. my opinion on which is better has been strained a bit now thinking about it. online for cod mw2 is amazing in tons of new ways, and cod waw has that nazi zombies and neat style of gameplay we all love. Id have to go with modern warfare 2 because of the perks, duel weilding, amazing graphics, and the overall work they put into the whole damn thing. hope to be seeing you on live. gamertag is messeduppup.

Hey, I think Call of Duty: Mordern Warfare 2 is better because it has a better plot and single player and good multiplayer maps. But Call of Duty: World at War is good becasue it has Nazi Zombie which always fun.

Honestly, it depends what type of shooter story you want man. If you like more modern stuff, MW2 is your cup of tea, if you want something not as realistic, WAW is a great choice as well.
So, in closing:

heyy! I myself have played both games and i personally perfer modern warfare 2. the reason is, the the option the game gives to choose your own “killstreaks.” Also the gameplay and maps are a lot better too. However mw2’s biggest flaw is that there is a LOT of glitches people are constantly finding. dispite this, overall mw2 is the superior game.

Modern Warfare 2 is by far the best, the guns in World at War are terrible, the engine is a cheap rip off of CoD4 and the maps look like they were built in 5 minutes.
Infinity Ward games are a mile better than Treyarch and I don’t know why Activision still keep Treyarch on contract to be honest.

Hey Kevin, gamertag is “SYN Crosshairs”, I think Modern Warfare 2 is an all around better game because the “LIVE” is more fun. I don’t like campaign because it’s strictly 1 player, but on World At War you can do more campaign stuff, and newer guns seem more fun. As well the campaign on Modern Warfare2 is more FUN, but like I said, no co-op. But anyway Modern Warfare 2 is all around better.

Modern Warfare 2 has a better Campaign and Multiplayer than World at War, I’ve been playing the call of duty series since it came out and I’ve got to say WaW is the worst out of all of them. Modern Warfare has a lot of different gun options and has new attachments for your guns like Heartbeat sensor, Thermal scope, Full Metal Jacket (FMJ), Extended Mags, and a bunch more. It also has the different kill streaks which makes the multiplayer a bit more exciting.

Hey kevin, i watched your video today and decided that i would finally join CraftNation =) in my personal opinion, mw2 is more intense, with the graphical situations and the fast paced gaming. However for multiplayer i prefer w.a.w. I personally like Modern warfare two a bit better. Mainly because the old world war two story line has be re-hashed over and over again, the variety of the weapons and things to do in MW2 is also more than world at war, that being said world at war is a great game (especially the zombie mode!!) Both games are great over all but I am going to have to stick with some Modern Warfare two for me. Cheers Kevin.

MW2 is better cause the guns,graphics, and story line, even tho the story line is short. The special ops missions are fun to do to. The online is cool because you can customize your killstreaks.

i like both of them mw2 has better graphics but it has very bad lag at times. Even with everyone at a full connection it can lag out. But there are new game modes for online wich make it very fun. But WaW had nazi zombies wich was also very very fun But had to many expensives maps. I personaly like modern warfare 2 a little more because it is funner and better game modes and has alot of new things such as guns killstreaks titles etc. And my gamer tag is jelloinatincan add me people

Modern Warfare 2 is the way to go man. I love the customizable killstreaks in that game. World at War was fun, but WWII games are well over done. It’s nice to play something modern.

Personally I’ve got to go with MW2 because of how many things you can do in it. You have your choice in which killstreaks you can use and there are so many unlockables, whether its camouflage on your weapon or the title and emblem you have next to your name. In the end its all up to personally preferences but you’re going to have fun with which ever you start gaming.

In my opinion, in the terms of an overall better game, the crown goes to Modern Warfare 2. It’s graphically better, the online multiplayer is top-notch(for the most part), and the Spec Ops missions add a lot of fun tag team-esque challenges. Plus the story mode was really awesome. World @ War is a good game too, but it lacks the polish and story to be great. The story mode can be played co-op with 4 players which is pretty fun for the most part. The online multiplayer, even with Modern Warfare 2 being out, is still pretty lively so its still worth playing online. The real draw of World At War is the Nazi Zombie mode. This is where the most fun can be had, but quite honestly, was the entire selling point of the game(which is a total joke but that’s a whole ‘nother rant haha)

Well to be honest, both are very good games, and for someone like me to tell u why one is better over the other isnt really my place to say, but i will tell u this. Well lets start with world at war: It has a extremely fun story mode, online play is pretty cool if ure really into the world war 2 setting. So the wepons and everything are gonna be set around that time era. Now modern warfare 2, i will definatly say i enjoyed this campaign much more than i did world at war. Personally because it was alot more exciting. the online play is fantastic with so many different modes. Plus there is spec ops which is a fun multiplayer/co-op setting. It takes you through all the different levels (even the ones from call of duty 4 too) and u get fun scenarios to gop through, and as u move up they get harder and harder. Well hats reall all i have to say. The verdict, personally i like modernwarfare 2 better, but like i said thats my opinion and i cant speak for anyone else but myself. Well hopefully ull consider this as helpful, it would be relly fun to play online wih u i must say. well PEACE ND LUV -Big John

MW2 is way better, it has a more exciting campaign. Online is also more exciting, has more stuff to do. WAW has only two good things. Nazi zombies, and gore. Also the attack dogs are pretty fun. But the campaign is hard and challenging, nothing too exciting tho. WAW is also like world war 1 and 2, the war times, while MW2 is now a days war. in afghanistan. In total, MW2 is wayy better by far.

MW2 is much more fun. You can barely ever get into a game on WaW because of the 10 extra maps that you have to buy for 800 Microsoft Points ($5) each. There’s Nazi Zombies, but I personally never got into it. MW2 has a better campaign and co-op as well.
Multiplayer has a couple of problems with some pricks and boosters, but it’s still better than wasting 10 minutes trying to get into a game and having someone camp on you. Besides, the games don’t always end when the host leaves or has a bad connection, either.

Hey Kevin, Id have to go with MW2. Its just has way more action and just is an overall funner game. The maps are better, and so are the guns. You are also able to customize kill streaks, that’s a lot of fun. While it will have some glitches/problems, its not even close to what W@W has. And while everyone is talking about “Nazi Zombies”, it only allows 4 people so that isn’t too good. MW2 has “Special Ops”, which is fun, but again it only allows two people so that isn’t any better. Oh, I love your videos so thanks for making them.

My personal opinion mw2 is slightly better because well….in w@w if you didn’t have the map packs you were sclued, that’s mainly the reason i mean zombie mode is better then spec ops but the thing with spec ops is once you beat them there is absolutely no point in going back and playing them again

mw2 is better because unlike w@w there are ways to get more exp and a better selection of guns and attachments. plus you get titles and emblems online that you can customize your titles and emblems to your liking. the more challenges you unlock the more titles and emblems you earn.

MW2 for theses reasons. MW2 has better graphics, better online play, titles and emblems, and a better system of host quits and rendering game. Also the campaign is spectacular and so close to how it is in real life. The effects, breathing, and hurt factor in this game are so up to date i nearly shit myself. Although MW2 doesn’t have zombies, its still rape in every other way. Hit me up bro. I’m tenth prestige and i make fun of everybody. haha. ttul

WAW has some very nice fetures 2 like zombie and i liked how they kinda polished the ww2 *epsaly in the 1st couple of missions.

i think modernwarfare 2 is WAAAAY BETTER. it has alot more guns and choices of guns compared to WaW. like secondarys for mw2 have macine pistols reg pistols shot guns and rocket launchers. not only that but alot better perks that can be upgraded and the kill streaks are amazing! u can chose which 3 ones you want and kill streak goes up to 25 (which is tactical nuke which ends the game and if u us it your team wins.) only down side is their are more *noobs* i guess. or *noob* thigns to use or weapons but the pros destroy the cons for mw2. mw2 i think is way better than WaW. only thing WaW gots on mw2 is the zombies!! but other than that its all about mw2.

Modern Warfare 2 because in World At War a lot of the time i run into campers and people who use nothing but the tanks. Also, although WaW has zombie mode i find it extremely repetitive and boring sometimes. Modern Warfare 2 just seems more fun to me. That’s my opinion.

Kevin this is from my own personal experiance i think that MW2 is a better game because it has many diffrent improvements to the game but WaW has zombie mode but then mw2 is also one of the best games ever and waw was voted one of the worst games ever.

mordern Warfare 2 is better. There are many styles of guns and ways you can custumize your character with perks and such. Anoother game i would recommend to you is Tom Clancy’s rainbow six Vegas 2. These two games go head to head in my mind, but mw2 still wins. Hope you enjoy your games.

Not to go with the apparent crowd but Modern Warfare 2 is the superior game for a few reasons; first of all, I like how much more original it is in comparison to WAW, not to put down WWII games, but the concept is over used. Secondly, the campaign is much more engaging, with more “human” characters. It has spec ops which I enjoy more than Nazi zombies, and finally, it has predator drones and tactical nukes.

first off, let me just start by saying modern warfare 2 is an all around better game. more weapon choices and combinations, more killstreak choices and combinations, and more gameplay styles. great storylines, and great multiplayer. and secondly, no offense to anyone who plays the Xbox 360 version, but it’s alot easier to kill people on there. if you play the playstation 3 version, and you definitely want a good team to run with, then run with me. Well, you can look at how many people are currently playing the games. There’s over 700,000 online at any time on MW2. On World at War there may be A couple thousand. I prefer MW2, because the game is a lot more fun in general. There are more game types, and guns. You can customize each class totally, and the killstreaks are great. In World at War, the guns were weak and glitchy.

It all depends on what you like. I prefer MW2 because it has the modern weapons with better attachments and scopes. It also has some new features with the killstreaks and perks which is pretty sweet. Although WAW has some sweet gametypes, Zombie mode can be fun to play with your friends but it does get old and repetitive. Whereas you can switch stuff up in MW2 and really change the style of play. Both campaigns are sweet as well, in the end MW2 anyday.

Call of Duty 4 was the prime of the whole Duty series. It blew up and became one of the best games. Then they announced World At War. I popped that motherfucker in and played it for a few days and immediately put back in Call of Duty 4. I gave it a chance multiple times after, but the buzz wasn’t there and it just wasnt as well built as Modern Warfare 1 (honestly, c’mon now, nobody wants to play with weapons that were used by our great grandparents in world war). After Infinity Ward took back the production rights for the game and came out with Modern Warfare 2, I was a happy man. I popped that motherfucker in and haven’t taken it out since. It’s modern, it’s well built, there s so many things to unlock/do (gives more reason to play). The only advantage World At War had was it’s Nazi Zombies (which I don’t see the hype is about anyways) but sorry, that didn’t save the game. Although at times Modern Warfare 2 might seem a little overwhelming with all the new additions.. c’mon now; we have co-op campaign, Op missions, MASSIVE online play, regular missions. It fits the comfort of anyone who’d like to shoot someone through their television. I wonder how they’d compete with MW2 in their next game.. lol. But definitely Modern Warfare 2. I don’t even know where I put my World At War after I purchased this. Haha, thumbs up. Keep up the good work by the way, Kevin!

Hey Kev, HERE is why Modern Warfare 2 is better.
Personally, I own and have enjoyed both games.
World at War is a pretty good game, but Modern Warfare 2 just has so many things that make World at War really shabby.
A short summary of World at War is (in my own words) “Call of Duty 4, in a WWII setting”. And that’s really all it is.
MW2 may just seem like a new and improved version of COD4, and it pretty much is. However, if you think of how insanely incredible COD4 was, an improved version seems like it’d be godly. Just a little example to prove COD4’s superiority, after World at War came out, people (including me) STILL played COD4, simply because it was better. However, if you think of how insanely incredible COD4 was, an improved version seems like it’d be godly.
(GAMEPLAY/CAMPAIGN)
MW2 for some reason seems to have better gameplay than MW2. I have no idea why, but from my standpoint, MW2 was just overall more enjoyable. In addition to that, the campaign in MW2 is UNBELIEVABLY intense. There are moments where you would easily turn down BOOTY to keep playing. No joke. ;D. But for real, the MW2 campaign makes you feel like you’re in the battle by throwing in beautiful The story line’s also pretty awesome, and I think the entire Modern Warfare franchise’s story would even make a pretty decent movie.
(MULTIPLAYER SECTION)
MW2 also has way more Game Types, (in my opinion) better maps, and INCREDIBLY fun to use guns. Also, you can switch around your “killstreak rewards”. And not just that, but Perks can all be upgraded. So you pretty much can make all the decisions down to you’re gun’s color for how you want to SHOOT NOOBS IN THE FACE. And that is just damn satisfying.
Bottom line is MW2 is a better game because it has (once again, in my opinion), better gameplay, and easily offers MUCH more customization. Oh, and also, if you didn’t know, you get a Tactical Nuke. That means YOU can hit the switch and drop the bomb. And yeah, that ends the match. Pretty frickin’ awesome.
So there’s really no reason to play World at War instead of MW2, unless you REALLY, REALLY REALLY, like to shoot Nazi Zombies.

Modern warfare 2 is the best first person shooter out there this moment. The graphics were amazing. The first mission, i was amazed because they actually put people playing basketball in it. They took the time to make it look real. I also like the slow motion kills when you blow up doors, its great.

i like modern warefare 2 best. they are both great games and i personally think the guns in waw are cooler but overall modern warefare 2 is best just based on the online gameplay. also the campaign is easier to get more into in modern warefare 2. they did what many developers do when adding a new concept or a new idea into a game. with the bullet penetration still relatively a relatvely new idea idea when they made world at war they went overboeard with it. you can take a normal gun shoot through a house wall a chair a couch a suppot pillar the fridge and still get a one hit kill.in modern waefare 2 they kinda made it more realistic they figured it bette based on the power of the gun and the strngth and depth of hat your shooting through. same thing goesfor camaign. in world at war they didnt focus on campaign much at all and if they did it doesnt sow. it seems more like they worked about online then spent some time on campaign. in mw2 they focused a fair amount on the campaign and did a lot of work for onlinelyness.

1. Better Graphics

3.Change in guns and more secondary choices.
4.Better attachments for all guns
5.Not a whole lot of campers in MW2 like there are in WaW
6. Better Story line
7.High tech Guns
8.Better kill streak rewards
9. Good maps
10.Different types of Equipments like Sticky grenades (Semtex), Throwing knives, tactical insertions, and the original equipment for CoD4.
So 10 good reason why MW2 is better than WaW.

And Call of Duty World at War is a little good too, but the online mode is not as great as Modern Warfare 2. But if you wanna play with friends for fun, I suggest you take on the zombie mode on World at War, it’s great fun. But I recommend Modernwarfare 2.

Yo Kevin I’ll be blunt,WaW is better than MW2 although i traded WAW in for MW2 so im left with MW2.Reasons why Mw2 is one of the most rediculous games ever made.Starting with the issues that arent glitchs.Commando Pro survive anyfall good to know im playing halo2 again.Care Package on its own i call it in i get a british harrier but its stolen and after the initial bombing (fair enough) the harrier pilot then decides to shoot british soldiers good to see inteligince is shown.Care package running,Marathon LightWeight and Commando Pro,run faster than a cheetah survive insane falls and continue that pace for ever because Super Soldiers are now a key part of MW probably the germans invented them lol.ACR a recoiless assault Rifle cabable of unloading its entire clip without recoil , Ump a 2 Shot kill SMG Famas like the m16 but worse . Nuke Boosting in Free for all, Acog Quickscoping aided by the slight of hand pro perk did you know a rifle is always accurate when your moving it up to your eye i sure didnt.If you want to play with me on this glitch mess im more than happy to oblige you dont notice the issues as much when playing with friends

MW2 great game. World at War I didnt like it due to all the tanks. Ticked me off. MW2 is a bs game sometimes thought the boosting the nukes, boosting in general, and boosting in killstreaks. I say Modern Warfare 2 is better because of weapons diversity. All of MW2’s weapons are capable of getting kills at any time; every gun is accurate and they all fire from the hip equally. However in World @ War the submachine guns are the only guns that had high damage and a high rate of fire (especially from the hip) which made all of the other guns bad by comparsion. If they could have added a higher rate of fire to the STG-44, DP-28, and BAR ,and the Trench Gun and PPSH-41 got a damage increase this would have made World @ War a better game instead of players just using the Tommy Gun, and MP40.

A bit late of a post, but i thought i’d give my thoughts anyways. Call of duty WAW and MW2 are really two different games. Both has aspects certain people like and certain people do not. I liked both but both are getting relatively old, I recently traded in Call of duty WAW. MW2 is still in my possesion i understand the 10 people are already filled and you have prolly played threw each campaign modes, But if you ever wanna run threw it again (MW2) or do some spec ops mission i’ll be glad to drop some bodys with you. Hey, Kevin, let me give you my perspective on the games, cuz I play both and can really poke the cons on both of them.
MW2:
This game is REALLY awesome. It has a great campaign and an awesome special ops mode. With this game’s campaign, you can really get a cool feeling out of it, and it’s really fast paced through the whole thing, especially the special ops mode, which includes a HUGE variety of challenges which you and a buddy can go through. The challenges are great, but some of them are just ridiculous. I don’t mean ridiculous as in how they play, i mean it in how hard they are. For example, on the mission set charlie, there is a level called “big brother” and you have one friend in a bada** Vulcan Minigun with explosive rounds flying safely above the battle in a helicopter, while the other person is running down the street with randomly picked up guns, dodging tons of fire and trying to get to the checkpoint in a small time period. Now, this sounds decently easy with the Mounted Minigun, but on veteran, which eventually people will want to do, it’s IMPOSSIBLE because the teammate on the ground gets killed in 2 shots and the minigun can’t stay in one place at a time, so it’s constantly moving and can’t see guys just running down the street. Now i may have exaggerated a bit, but in the end it’s really difficult and unfair to the person on the ground. In the multiplayer, you have a wide variety of guns, and to tell you the truth, they are all decently balanced and all can be used fairly. Unfortunately, there are some downsides to this. The secondary weapons in this game are WAY too overpowered, such as the model 1887’s were, and the weapons can be extremely inconsistent. For example, you take your Pump-action shotgun and blast someone away with one shot at aboot 20 meters, and then another dude comes up to you, and you have to hit him 3-4 times before he goes down and he is 5 meters away from you. Also, like any multiplayer game, there are glitchers, and people have been doing infinite care-package glitch which gives them infinite random killstreaks and is really annoying. oh yeah, and customizable killstreaks are amazing because they give you a much wider range to the game.
CoD: World at War:
Now, already I’m going to have a bias against this game, because Treyark is a very… let’s just say “Non-Responsive” game company when it comes to glitches. Basically i’ve been stuck in a glitch where is get’s rid of all my beginner stuff, and for my first about 20 levels, (After I got reset from a level 40 2nd prestige) all i could use was the basic pistol, and 2 bolt action rifles, and every game i joined, it made this big red text show up to everyone, which made it look like i was hacking. Several Hundred people and I have been trying to appeal to Treyark, but they are still “Non-Responsive”. But, being past that, the single player is fun, and it really puts you into the action, and even has a few hidden items which make the campaign a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the campaign doesn’t really put me in that emotional aspect that it should have. The Nazi-Zombies mode, which is a LOT OF FUN, is REALLY fun to play with your friends, because it is fun watching how you battle against hordes of zombies in an abandoned building, or a zombie factory, and much more. All in all, i think the Nazi Zombies idea was an AMAZING idea, and they should still keep releasing packages with new maps. On the downside, World at War’s multilayer is really… unfair. there are basically only a few guns which are extremely good, and the rest are just the ones you complete if you are a good gamer, and want to completely finish the game. Also, there are some extremely cheap spots which you are basically invisible in, and if you use a suppressor, all you have to do is sit there and you are unstoppable. But, I love WaW because it has really good integration with the bolt-action rifles, and i think it’s awesome how they start you from the bare rifle. Also it’s fun exploiting some of the glitches on this game, only because they are impossible to do online. Like the bayonet lunge where you lunge at an enemy over something, and you are sent flying on top of a roof or something. it’s fun.
Basically, it’s impossible to judge which one is better, because they are two different time periods for the game. Now, i don’t like WaW’s voice acting, cuz it blows, but that’s only a small accessory to the real gameplay, which all in all, is your call. I play MW2 more often cuz I like it better, and I’d be happy to help you through those pain in the a** missions, cuz me and my friends took some time and figured em out. In the end I can’t decide which game you should play, but I fu#kin love Nazi Zombies, and I love MW2, and i’d love to kick some a$$ on either of those.
And if you don’t have room on your friends list and still wanna be able to play with people who are on here, just make a new account, call it “CraftNation’s_Tag” and add it so people can send friend requests to it, and inv you sometimes. I mean, if you just don’t wanna be bothered by people then don’t do it, or just remove the annoying people. And ya know what? If you don’t like that idea, then Idk, I just wanna have a good chance of playin some call of duty with ya.
